Cefdinir (Cef) is a third-generation cephalosporin antibacterial agent with an extended spectrum and low solubility permeability. In this study, cefdinir was prepared as nanosuspension lyophilized to powder. The further processed develop bilayer tablet. By utilizing the approach, first therapeutic action impacted by immediate part's rapid disintegration prolonged release from floating part achieved. Floating system ensures recognized extended-release in gastric medium avoids numerous daily dosages. Different polymers were utilized effervescent materials different concentrations. method employed preparing tablets direct compression. Every formulation undergoes through standard pre post-compression tablet characteristics unique results that allow for comparison between various formulations increase our understanding of makeup medications, polymers, additives, preparation technique. formula NFT8 selected best design. It contains (HPMC K4M 400 mg, Carbapol940 50 sodium bicarbonate 100 citric acid 75 mg) provided efficient more than 24 hr revealed vitro dissolution release.
